The sixth URB festival theme was City arrangements. URB 05 guests were urban artistic avant-gardists. For celebrating hip-hop 30-year inauguration, organizers invited two undisputed legends of hip-hop dance: Storm (GER) and Franck II Louise (FRA). Black Soil movies brought to the screen hip-hop culture, from Colombia, Cuba and Asia. Bruno Beltrão, led by Grupo de Rua de Niteroi Brazil. URB06 culminated to the street party at Kiasma’s neighbourhood. URB’s long-term cooperation between the EU Urban II Community Initiative Programhad enabled a vast amount of workshop activities, and the suburb was once one of the most important parts of the festival. URB06 continued as a power exhibition in Kiasma till November (10.9.-20.11.05).
