Lost property
The Kiasma’s lost property point is located on the first floor of the museum, next to the cloakroom.
The lost property point is open during the museum’s opening hours. To enquire about lost property, call +358 294 500 501 or email to info@kiasma.fi.
We use the eOmistaja lost property service
- The items found at the Kiasma are all recorded in one place, a digital lost property service, where you can easily check whether an item you lost has been found.
- Unfortunately, the Kiasma cannot send lost property by post. The items must be picked up at the museum.
- Lost property is kept at the museum for one month. After this, the lost property is delivered to the Suomen Löytötavarapiste lost property service.
To check whether an item you lost at the Kiasma has been found, go to eOmistaja.fi.
Please note! We do not add items of value to the eOmistaja service. If you have lost something valuable, such as a mobile phone or a watch, call us at: +358 294 500 501.

Exhibition and event proposals
Kiasma develops its exhibition and events programmes independently, but we are also open to suggestions. Programming generally extends about two years into the future.
Instructions for exhibition and project proposals
Kiasma’s exhibition programme consists of solo exhibitions by Finnish and international contemporary artists, or thematic group exhibitions. Exhibition programming seeks to reflect the diversity of the phenomena, contents and expressive idioms of contemporary art. The selection, curating and mounting of exhibitions are done with different audiences in mind, yet without compromising the aim of presenting challenging content.
Exhibition and project proposals
The Museum of Contemporary Art Kiasma’s exhibition programme is devised and confirmed by the museum’s curatorial team and is based solely on invitations. The exhibition programme is planned up to two years in advance.
We follow actively both the Finnish and the international contemporary art field, but we do also accept exhibition and project proposals.
Here is how to submit an exhibition proposal
- Your proposal should identify and provide a rationale for the exhibition concept or theme (1 page)
- and at most 6 images (.jpeg, 300 dpi, max 1 MB). For video art works, we ask you to include a link to the video file.
- Send your proposal to proposals@kiasma.fi (by e-mail only)
Feedback
Since our exhibition programme is by invitation only, we do not give feedback on proposals sent to us. If your proposal has been successful, the museum’s curatorial team will contact you directly.
Instructions for performance and event proposals
Kiasma develops its events programme independently. The programming time span is about 12–18 months into the future. Therefore, we will not be able to implement your proposal during the current performance season.
Events at Kiasma, as well as our exhibition programme, are designed for specific target audiences. We also produce extensive joint projects annually with various partners. Please note: Kiasma Theatre cannot be rented for other artistic projects.
