The Artist

Dineo Seshee Bopape (b. 1984, Polokwane) makes art based on the ancient creation myths of South Africa. Featuring sculptures, performances, sound, video and installations, the exhibition brings forgotten stories to life. Bopape often uses everyday substances, such as soil and other natural materials or found objects and images, to create evocative, multisensory environments.

Curator

The exhibition is curated by João Laia, chief curator of temporary exhibitions.
