Corporate partners are vital for the success of ARS17

The main sponsor of ARS17 is Microsoft, which has made possible the design and implementation of the Emotion Loader interactive work on the second floor of Kiasma. Emotion Loader recognises your facial expression and turns it into a remarkable visualisation in the form of a short video you can share online as a memento of your visit. Emotion Loader makes use of Microsoft’s expertise, as well as the company’s Surface Hub whiteboard and Emotion API. Microsoft will also participate in the organisation of the Hackathon and enable computers as part of a workshop for students.

The exhibition’s other main sponsor is the Creative agency Wörks, which created the ARS17 visual identity and logo and participated in the planning of its marketing strategy.

High-end installation speakers by Genelec in the works of Ed Atkins, Ilja Karilampi and Cécile B. Evans ensure maximum audio experience.

Jimm’s PC Store has provided heavy-duty computers and VR headsets that enable the presentation of workshops and artworks that involve VR and gaming.

Media agency Dagmar has provided expert marketing services, allowing ARS17 advertising and marketing to be implemented in various media and social media channels.

Partnership with Clear Channel provides Kiasma with broader visibility for ARS17 in digital outdoor advertising.

Castren&Snellman Attorneys has also supported ARS17, and as part of the partnership they offer their stakeholders a free guided tour of the exhibition.

Tikkurila has been Kiasma’s partner for many years, ensuring that the museum never runs out of paint to finish its galleries.

Kiasma’s cooperation with the Finnish gaming operator Veikkaus is long-standing. Members of the Veikkaus loyalty programme receive two admissions for the price of one on Wednesdays.

The furniture in the exhibition architecture is manufactured from FENIX NTM® nanotech material by Arpa Industriale.

Jane and Aatos Erkko Foundation have made a sizable financial contribution that has allowed the implementation of the ARS17+ Online Art website.

The Promotion Centre for Audiovisual Culture (AVEK) has served as joint producer for the work by Tuomas A. Laitinen. AVEK has supported also other individual works in the exhibition.

The Embassy of Finland, USA, has supported the exhibition in many ways, including the subsidisation of individual artists’ travel costs.
